Hi,

If you are trying to lose weight, then when you are exercising what should your target heart rate be? Is it 60% of your maximum heart rate?

so say if you are 20 years old then it would be 220 - 20 = 200

and 60% of that would be 120

so if you are trying to lose weight then you should try to make your heart rate 120 bpm while you are exercising? Is that it?

Thanks

Target heart rate is so far down the list on the list of things to think about when trying to loose weight.

Best exercise for weight loss - Table push aways. Stop eating so much food. People who do not have this absolutely basic fortitude should just remove them selves from the gene pool as they are not fit to breed.

No?
I thought 60% if you are trying to lose weight, and 80% if you are trying to increase your cardiovascular fitness.
