hi everyone. i need some help about what course to do: i'm interested in a career directed towards marketing/management related to international affairs/businesses at a company. I was thinking of international studies..but the career objectives don't seem to be that clear..seems to be more like a "I don't know what to do so i'll do B of International Studies" course..
Any suggestions on the courses availible? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Best thing I can suggest is a BCom majoring in Marketing and Accounting.
A specialisation in international studies alone I dont think secures you a job within the international dep't of a business

marketing/accounting seems to be rite initially if your not sure what you want just yet. however if you have an idea where you want to work in, and some companies that you know are recognised for that area have a look at their website, for example:

a company that has firms worldwide for intl exposure and is predominatly marketing based, lol sadly i know very little of the industry so wont hazard a guess, but check out their website, goto the section on grad recruitment or even job search, all companies usually have both those sections somewhere on their site, and see what streams/areas they recruit from. that may help you get an idea of what qualifications you need and may also help you see if that actually is for you or if your interested enough to see how youd go in it.

all in all remember commerce can be quite easy to move around in, have a look around and see what you may enjoy and pursue it :) oh and the internet makes finding info on what skills are needed very very easy :) good luck!~
