Lotto Probability, anyone tried?

45 balls with unique identical number on each here, one ball picked out at a time without replacement and then second ball been taken until 6 balls is taken out. Two special balls is taken followed 6 balls which act as "special balls" and as people got the special ball, the special ball count as "half point". What is the probabilities for David have to win first or second price by got the chance on random picking for winning all 6 balls picked or 5.5 balls(five balls with 1special)

Err...they ask for the proability:p
I dont really understand this question(never play lotto:D ).Is the oder of the ball important since it doesnt make sense when you choose 1 o in2 special balls?

1st price: 1/45P6
2 nd price:rolleyes:
.There are 6 order of No. in David's lotto
.In 45P6 of ways,for 5 No to be the same there are:6*39 ways (there are 6 order of 5 in 6 and the other ball cant be the same as David's)
.In 39P2 of ways,for 1 to win there are:2*38 ways:D
---> Proability =6*6*39*2*38/45P6*39P2=1.23*10^(-8):D

1.) it's 1/ (45 C 6) lotto's not P

2.) should be 12/(45 C 6)

coz from the 6 + 2 numbers, there are 6*2 combinations which takes five from the '6' and 1 from the '2'

so it's 12/total number of combinations

ok,so we have higher chance to win:D gotto try 1 day;)
My way also get the same(a bit silly tho:p ):
-There r 6 combination of 5 in 6No. of Daivd
-In 45C6 way to get 6 balls: there r 39 way to get 5 the same.
-In 39C2 way to get 2 balls: there r 38 way to get 1 the same.
--->Proab=6*39*38/45C6*39C2=12/45C6=1.5*10^-6(yay:D )
