Look at one of the temporary fences, and you'll see a sign, like 'Biff's Building', or something equally stupid, which outlines the plan of the construction.

The new path is actually quite nice, but I really don't know why they bothered...

I hope it looks good when it's finished, it could work as a quick face lift for the uni if it looks nice in the end. from what i have seen though it is only further adding to the grey colouring of the uni.

as for construction, with the train, hospital and sports centre being built, out whole time at macquarie will be spent dodging constuction areas and we won't benefit!

Actually, the path is a light beige, not really grey.

Can they get around to building the Creative Arts Castle already? *taps foot impatiently* We need somewhere to bounce around... and everyone else at MQ will feel so much safer when all the crazy people are safely behind stone walls.

I walked on the main axis path (that goes from X5B, infront of the library, and to the research park road) along from the library to the research park.

It's simple concrete that's either coloured beige or was painted beige. Quite nice..

yeah, construction is not doing good for the new kids

so during orientation day... tours will walk around the construction sites, hence longer tours :(

hmm, the new commerce building is x4a/x4b, and the new pathway is called the wally walk :S

I don't think X4A/B is all that badly placed...it's the closest thing to Mac Centre and will be at the first thing you see at the exit of Macquarie Uni station once that's completed.

the place looks like a bomb has hit it. It should be interesting to see how the tours will work with the maze layout appearing to change each day.

I know, I'm going to look like such an idiot -

'ok, we're walking to the *runs into fence*. Right, well we'll just g- *runs into fence*. Well that doesn't matter, the library's not that important anyway, we'll just go hom- *runs into fence*'

All this talk of buildings is confusing me :S I had to use a map to find where to go on the day of acceptance and the building was right next to where my car was parked!

its easy to remember.
C-buildings are in the center, W-buildings are on the western side, E-buildings are on the eastern side and X-buildings are more west than the W-buldings. they are called X because they are like outliers in stats. :D
