Really? I was told that "X" stood for "eXtreme west" and "F" stood for "Far east"...

That's what I thought, too. More entertaining, anyway. :)

Apparently the path is the VC's "last hurrah" before he goes. They spent $3.8million on that new, unneeded path, so you better appreciate it.

The next thing on the list was to demolish C5C, becuase it's a bad design for teaching, apparently (and therefore replace it with a new C5C). However, that'll be beyond the current VC's reign, so it'll depend on the next one. The cheaper alternative that's being considered is moving the people/places in the Lincoln building to C5C and converting the Lincoln building to teaching area... but whether that'd be much better than the current C5C is questionable in my opinion.

That's the extent of my inside goss! :D

Haha, so Di's male eh?...I knew it!

I think the new pathway will be pretty cool (imagine UNSW without their long long marbly walkway). Having said that, it's somewhat ridiculous to think construction will still be going on after the start of semester.

C5C is rather kitsch...but I don't think MQ can afford to tear the f*cker down with our crisis in class space. Interesting to note that despite the money that's gone into C4A/B, it doesn't actually provide a lot of tute rooms.

And where's our goddamn pool!

That sort of works.

I remember when I first came to MQ the letters really screwed me up, because for some unexplainable reason I assumed it'd be organised alphabetically.

Although technically, "X" is fine after "W" but going in a sort of backwards diagonal, shouldn't the "F" area be "D" instead?

Darn! Why is it that so many ugly buildings are protected?

My high school is heritage listed. :(

Someone out there gets a hard-on looking at truly ugly buildings, and gets off at knowing people have to study in them :(:bomb:

Some guy from the MUSR said the pool will be finished by the end of this year at most. They are also spending something crazy, like $17 million on extending the existing gym so they will have proper exercise rooms and the like for all those new classes they have introduced (those dancing, 'boxercise' things)..

Ooh, also, they are having Salsa dance classes this semester! Steve and I will be there! :D You either buy a $30 month membership with unlimited entry to the gym, or a $50 10-visit pass which lasts for three months.

urgh...darn construction.

Is there any way to get around onto gymnasium road from the main uni entrance on balaclava road? Or is the only way to go out of the uni and around the side?

Then again, I dont care so much now - i finally got the parking permit! yay!

OMG OMG OMG OMG SALSA SALSA SALSA!!! Pick me! Pick me!

SALSA SALSA SALSA SALSA SALSA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SSSAAALLLSSSAAAA!

*is so incredibly excited*

My only question is why it's always guys that are at least a foot taller than me always end up being my dance partners :( Although for salsa it's good, because that way the girl's ponytail won't flick in the guy's face....

But... SALSA!!!!

Can someone give me the time the class is? And does anyone want to come salsa clubbing with me?
