OMG OMG OMG OMG SALSA SALSA SALSA!!! Pick me! Pick me!

SALSA SALSA SALSA SALSA SALSA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SSSAAALLLSSSAAAA!

*is so incredibly excited*

My only question is why it's always guys that are at least a foot taller than me always end up being my dance partners :( Although for salsa it's good, because that way the girl's ponytail won't flick in the guy's face....

But... SALSA!!!!

Can someone give me the time the class is? And does anyone want to come salsa clubbing with me?
Baha, you can invest in platforms :p

Yeah, I believe that area that does Film and Media studies has its practical areas there? I think the area that I walk through -- housing a few sciency labs is in there, too?

Words cannot express how much I suck when in heels. :( Which is highly depressing, considering how much someone of my stature needs them... :(

if you're at your reasonable height, you don't 'need' anything. Who cares if you're short. You just need someone taller to reach the cereal boxes in coles.

^ And someone to be able to reach the upper kitchen cupboards without having to stand on a chair. And someone to be able to reach the uppermost CD's hanging on the walls at HMV. And someone who is able to put clothes on the clothesline without having to stand on a designated rock *dramatic sigh* LOL... mind you, I can still use kiddy playground equipment, and be neatly stuffed into almost non-existent car space when required :D

But what is this about "reasonable height"?

Haha, you don't want to know :p

Height is overrated, I mean, it only means you'll need a bigger coffin when you're dead! $$$!!!

I plan to go out in style, either with some explosive strapped to me, or in a fiery ball of doom and destruction befitting a viking.

Here are the details guys:

New for 2006, Learn...Salsa! This 5-week course will introduce you to the ever popular dance style of Salsa. Plus, to show off your newly learnt skills at the completion of the course, we will also be going to a Salsa club!

Learn... Salsa
Day: Thursdays
Time: 7:30-9:00pm (hour lesson plus half-hour practice)
Starting Date: Thursday 16th March 2006
Duration: 5 weeks
Cost: $85 members, $95 non-members

Enrolment will commence Monday 13th February. Click on the Enrolment link on the left to download a form. For inquiries, please contact Ann-Marie on 9850-9494 or at annmarie.hopps@musa.mq.edu.au.

Its a bit more expensive than through a studio, but its convenient, and the lessons are longer, and we can all have a massive BoS salsa partay!! :D

Hopefully the construction will go away soon (on walkways etc) - but it is going to look a little odd - modern lighting/paths/walkways next to neo-cubist buildings ><
Still - no tripping :haha: :)

I went there yesterday and it still looks pretty similar to what it looked like 3 months ago. So im guessing they arent going to finish anytime soon.
