Hi,
Could someone please explain (in brief) the main features of Communist (Bolshevik) ideology at the time of revolution? That is, how did this ideology change from the beginning of 1917 to Oct / Nov of that same year?
Is it essentially that Lenin realised he could use the proletariat to his advantage (as opposed to an 'elite' group of intellectuals) and that by April he rejected the notion that the Provisional Govt. was part of the bourgeois phase outlined by Marx and that from out of this capitalist phase the "true" proletarian revolution would evolve?
Does any of that make sense?
Ahhh!
