has the demand for uni come down cos of hecs,if not why drops across all the courses.jeez, if i knew that primary edu cutoff wouldnt change that much i probably woulda done it

anyone have a clue to why the uai cut off dropped down

i heard a while ago that uni applications had dropped by 9000 people this year (not sure if this was NSW only or Aus wide fact). i also remember at some of the open days that the fed govt. had increased HECs places this year due to increased demand (in some courses only).

my course went from 87 last year to first round 78 this year. massive drop for a popular course.

im sure UAC will come out with something soon. every course looks like they are dropping which is against the trend.

its just so weird how thu cut offs have dropped
especially B Business (accounting) in UWS
is it true that in the 2nd and 3rd rounds the cut offs increase? :confused:

cheers mate. same goes for you

i dont think they could go up, unless people with higher UAIs applied now. cause when people decline an offer, the next UAI down gets an offer. so i couldnt see how it would rise. but it could

maybe everyone went to Queensland uni's this year. lower scores, good lifestyle. dunno

maybe i should of been amongst those ppl who went to Queensland uni's this year. :uhhuh: :confused:
