Hey guys,

I was wondering what are the likely areas from the Economics Syllabus we're likely to bound to get asked an essay question on.

I can think of a few things:

- something abt CAD
- Australia's trade performance
- policy mix or a certain policy addressing economic objectives/certain economic objective(s)
- any one of the economic issues
- impact of globalisation on country other than Australia

Can anyone think of any others?

there might be one on macroeconomic policy where you've gotta combine fiscal and monetary

I dont think there will be. The past 5 years the focus has very much being macroeconomics.

In the real economic situation however, there has being a recent shift away from macro to micro economic management. So its very likely that the question will be regarding microeconomics or a general econmic management question.

turn on the news, or look up the contemporary argument against industrial reforms. That should include all the statistics and policies that relate to current economics. No statistics will be superior to that
