It's not actually a Board-marked Major Work, as many people at my school seem to think it is. It's an internal assessment like any other, it's just that it's far more strictly proscribed in the syllabus than your usual "10% - spoken" or so on. Therefore, the schools are free to set their due dates. I'm actually glad mine was due earlier - it means that there's nothing else I have to concentrate heavily on before trials, and I'm not rushing down to the State Library every weekend.

First week back for me, but I finished mine off last night while waiting for the soccer to come on, so I don't have to worry about it any more. Feels good

i finally finished mine off the night before.. lol.. i typing up my final copy 10am the previous day.. then finished 7am the next morning.. and as a result.. i ended up with a virus.. and i wasnt able to come to class on the day.. instead just had to give it all in..
i missed an english exam because of it.. no body do what i done ok?.. health is definately more important.. i suggest.. sit down one day.. do a really bad SH*TTY copy.. and then look back on it once or twice a week and just edit bits and pieces.

Mine is due on the day of the Ext History exam during the trials, which is either week 3 or 4 (we don't have our exam timetables yet). Let's hope it's week 4 because i just started writing!

When's your major project due?

It was ment to be the last day of term two..but of teacher screwed the appeal up to make it the first day back of term three so it was due the first tuesday of the holidays (3rd of July). So confusing

Mine is due on the 4th aug... so next friday.... my teacher has checked mine about 3 or 4 times.. he doesnt mind but.. have 300 words to go!!!!! good luck 2 everyone

yeah ours is due friday too... been havign some major issues with my essay, not cool at all. changed the question about 8 times, and structure has been all over the place.

getting mighty sick of it i can tell you
