eugh. tiaras are tacky. and i think she meant aubergine. eggplant doesn't quite do it for me when describing a dress colour.

i swear you are obsessed.
its unhealthy.

but i like some tiaras. I had one for my yr10 formal, and then wore it again for my dance concert a month later, and it isnt tacky.
its actually quite nice.
although, i have seen some hideous tiaras

my pet hate for formals is when chicks who don't usually wear a lot of makeup go all-out on the really dark eyeliner. it's just too startling and most of the time it really doesn't suit them.

same goes for girls who usually have really gorgeous pale skin, and then feel compelled to turn their faces bright orange for the formal. good christ, work with what you have, girls!

I know what you mean; a lot of girls go over the top worrying about formals and stuff! But, it's just a great time to be able to dress up and look beautiful and feel special!! :)

I don't go on like a lot of other people do that I know! I left my year 10 formal dress buying to till a couple of days before and didn't even thing about make-up untill the day of; when I realised how sunburnt I was! :p And if I buy a new dress this year (I have a few options in the wardrobe) I'll most probably do the same thing!
