That's cute. You'll likely get at least one of these questions in an OA. They don't teach you this in class, but u should learn it anyway.

Dynamic programming (DP) is an important algorithm, usually taught within Data Structure and Algorithms.

Programming is cheap in this AI era.

We need more ppl truly master the math behind the algorithm.

Those algorithms are more or less useless in actual software solutions. Unless you are writing like kernel shit. And even then, jobs like that don't exist in Australia. Claude Code can pretty much do all the SWE jobs in Australia. The jobs that Claude Code can't do, aren't in Australia, and aren't entry level.

CS is dead, and Software Engineering is maimed. Law will go soon as well.

Claude can replace everyone. I hope in the future the governments of countries just let AI do all the work, and their ceos pay everyone (with large taxes) from the profit the AI makes. then we can all just live life like a human being and enjoy it to its fullest. nobody likes working

this exact problem is literally taught in 3rd year usyd cs lol

oa = online assessment, usually when you interview at places for internships/grad roles they’ll give you a 1-2 hour assessment where you have to solve some coding problem in a certain amount of time as an easy pre-screen before interviews
