ok with a marketing plan
the best advice i can tell u is 2 know the elements of the marketing plan and identify them in the plan they give u and talk about them
to refresh ur memory the elements of a marketing plan are:
*situation analysis-including SWOT analysis, competitor analysis, market analysis and product analysis including product lifecycle
*establishing marketing objects ie. SMART characteristics-specific, measurable, achieveable, realistic and timed
*identify target market-remember undifferentiated, differentiated and concentrated...
*develop marketing strategies
*implementing monitoring and controlling-comparring actual v. planned

hope this helps :)

You'll be given a marketing plan and analyse the info given, correct? Most marketing plans will have the SWOT analysis and the four P's etc. I'm guessing most likely you'll be asked on how solve some "difficult situations",

for example: say a business sells beauty products. However one weakness could be that they're target market isn't buying it and they're piling on stock. How would they be ables to sell it more quickly and efficiently?

Advertise on tv, radio, maybe a door-to-door salesman, magazine like Avon, have a discount price, Buy 1 get one free etc.

BUT please note this is ONLY AN EXAMPLE! (that I just made on the spot).

OR another alternative is......

PMing truly in bliss or Without Wings or AGB as they are the mods of this forum

I suggest reading over some sample marketing plans, maybe off the net or a case study in your textbook, and knowing what's in it (and if you're lucky, contain some situations, they had to work out)

other than that, I'm not so sure

like, they might give you a scenario and you have to think of some strategies to solve the problem - don't take my word for it though

Read in your textbook any scenario examples they give and the strategy they used to solve the problem, note this down in your notes
