For the marketing mix, I understand how to link product, price and promotion to a service... but when it comes to place what exactly do you say?

My service is a car waxing business working from one franchise.

Any thoughts on what I should say about the place? distribution?

Place - i.e where you are located - eg. You are a car waxing business, where do you think is the most appropriate place to carry out your service? In the country? In the city? Or in suburban areas? Why?

I think that's what it refers to in regards to your business however I am not so sure about the distribution.
