I'm a first year student and it says on the Unit Outline that:

"Attendance at lectures is important and will be considered in determining the final grade"

Is this true? I don't see how they can record attendance at lectures

It's held at EA.G18 aka Lecture Theatre 1 if that makes a difference

They mark the roll via group activities where you have to write your name on the sheet which is attendance.... but obviously you can just get a friend to write on it and nobody would know

Some of those group activities questions are in exam. So i did recommend to go.

Why aren't the lectures recorded and posted on vUWS?

Probably becuase it is a requirement to go to lectures.
