Can anyone give me any information on this course for first year RE: level of difficulty, etc....

i am stressing a lot over this course in '08 because i only did General Maths in high school, however i got 94 in HSC. I am currently getting tutored so i will hopefully have 2unit similar knowledge when entering the course.

Also, can anyone shed some light on the PHYS1149 course? Is it largely maths based?

Thanks.....

I did Math1031 in s1 having done 2 unit in HSC, the 1st half of the course concentrates on matrix algebra whilst the second half of the course focuses on calculus.
If you've only done general maths I'd definatly suggest some tutoring atleast on 2 unit calculus between now and commencing the course, but otherwise you should be ok. If you keep up in lectures and complete your tutorials each week I'd think it would be hard to get lower than a C.
