I did Math1013 last year instead of math1003 which is assumed knowledge for this unit. Does that mean i will be disadvantaged when doing math2070?

To be honest, probably not. I do not recall any material needed from math1003 (though you should be familiar with how to at least integrate easy functions!). I believe the best preparation for this course is being comfortable with linear algebra, and perhaps some math1001/math1901.
