i think you had to like do like cos (the period (x-6) and like the 6 is actually 1/4 of the period and u like make it sine

theres quite literally no point of the ext syllabus then if i cant use concepts i learnt in other courses's exam. ye i got a tan equation using compound angles and got the answer from there
