My First Post!

Can I get a decent UAI (ie 90s) doing 2unit maths...

Im also planning 4u english, Drama, Modern, Chem,

umm my friend did
standard english
general maths
biology
business studies
geography

and he got uai of 89. sumfing....
he said he did normal in maths and english... but did really well in the other 3 subs so yeah.. i'm pretty sure u can

Of course u can get uai about 90's with 2unit maths,
it's even got a decent scaling...

Are u sure your friend got about 89? coz general maths and standard english have a horrible decrease scaling...

yeah he did..! which is kind of like odd because
i have another friend who did
4 unit maths
physics
chem
ext 1 english
and got 89. sumfing as well... :|
kind of strange.. makes you wonder whethere or not 4 unit maths is worth it.... :|

well i think ur friend didnt do well in those extension subjects and they were too hard for him/her to handle.

*The friend of yours who did general maths and standard eng, what year did he do his HSC ?

UAI is a rank so if u come 1st or there abouts in even the 'worst scaling' or 'easiest' subjects u can get a UAI of a 100.

will, chem, modern and 4u eng should 'balance out' any problems with 2u maths. 90+ is very much possible.

im aiming to get around 95 or 96. Im doing
Economics
2 unit advanced maths
2 unit advanced english
modern history
legals studies
Business Studies

Im currently first in legal, 3rd or 4th in business, top 5 in eco, top 5 in maths and top 4 in modern. English i dunno. Is 96 a possible outcome, mind you im really not working and im bloody disorganised.

umm i think two years ago or three years ago?
my friend who did the 4 unit and got 89 did hers last year :|

i do some of that. i used to do modern but i dropped it
i now do 4 eng 2 maths bio and chem.
ill let you know how badly i fail!
