so i have basically done most of the questions that are relevant in the Cambridge book and now wanting to buy another book people on BOS have been saying that terry lee is the best but i also heard phoenix is pretty good.

  • so what do u recommend

I would make sure you understand all the necessary concepts in Cambridge. Terry Lee is Year 12, but it does contain a few Year 11 topics, Permutations and Combinations, Circle Geometry, Parametrics. Phoenix is topic by topic and is for the HSC course. Personally I would get Fitzpatrick for further consolidation then maybe try a few past papers from Preliminary.

so does that mean phoenix does not contain year 11 topics or what.
Well, I wouldn't recommend getting it at this stage. Phoenix 2 unit Mathematics does contain a fair amount of Year 11 3 unit work. Check your local library for it first.

ok then, but i also thought that terry lee came in 2 books one for prelim and one for year 12

I think the older text called Essential Mathematics Volume 1 does contain Year 11, although I am not clear on this. I doubt they are still publishing it.
