well I'm doing Adv. English and 2 unit maths tho someone just said somewhere on da forum (can't remember where) to do 3u maths cos it will help u wid ur 2u but then wouldn't u rather do 2u b/c it will be easier n e way? :$

imo 3u maths doesnt help that much in 2u. the actual 3u component is just extra stuff u gotta do and is unrelated to topics in 2u, which wud be useless if u plan to do 2u in the hsc.

i dont get why there are so many ppl that dont like maths. its straightforward, methodogical, purely logical. unlike english, in maths its totally possible to get full marks for anything to everything. In english, u approach some kind of asymptote that prevents u from ever getting full marks. even when the teacher gives ur essay back with no comments but ticks, thats prolly a 19/20

nay. i just sit there and throw rocks at ppl during prac lessons. and if its compulsory participation, i piss ppl off by not cooperating... ud be surprised how badly some ppl wanna win a silly ball game.
