You could assume that the point K extends until it is directly below point B, forming the right angle triangle BKH.

Since we already have the length of BH from part a. We can find the length of BK by subtracting the heights of the balloon and the helicopter.



Now we just use out sin identity.

my method is a bit different
so we know BH is 2
we also know angle KHA = 72 degrees (alternate angles)
you then calculate angle BHA using the cosine formula which is approx 105.5
then you subtract 72 from angle BHA which is approx 34 degrees
done
