i don't know much about scaling esp. maths so i'll ask here.

scenario example:
these kids came 1st in their respective classes;

general maths kid receives 69/100
2u math kid receives 55/100
3u maths kid receives 12-30/100

who would receive the higher mark AND in what order?:confused::rofl:
cheers

They all will get scaled shit regardless of who goes well

But im pretty hypothetical saying

1st - 2Unit Kid
2nd - General Kid
Last - Extension kid

is that after school assessments or after the final hsc exam? if it were after the hsc exam, they will all get scaled shit. i think Chelsea FC's estimate would be about right.

however, if it was after school assessments and those kids happen to get 80+ in the final HSC exam, it means their school tests were so much harder than the exam so they moderate the school marks in accordance with their HSC exam marks. in which case it will go 3u, 2u, general.
