So I can't draw the diagram but basically, the points A, B and C lie on a horizontal line and D lies directly below C. These points join to form three triangles (triangle ACD which contains triangle ABD and triangle BCD which is a right angled triangle). The angles of depression of D from A and B are 34degrees and 62degrees respectively, and AB=75.4m.
a) Show that CD=(75.4sin34sin62)/sin28
I know this is probable very simple, I just can't seem to work it out for some reason :mad3:

angle abd=180-62=118

use to work out angle adb.
sine rule to find bd. from there use sine ratio- opposite over hypotenuse
