We have to do a media file at school as i'm sure alot of you do - on the 6 economic issues (eco growth, inflation, unemployment etc).

What articles exactly are u looking for. Sure there are heaps saying 'unemployment fell to new low' but is that really that useful cuase we have to say 1. what we learnt from an article and 2. how it enhanced our overall understanding of the topic area.

Any tips would be gfreatly appreciated

We don't have to do a media file, but I've been collecting newspaper articles myself all year...there was a bit of coverage in the last week about the job network, and how it hasn't been successful in helping older unemployed people - try and look it up in the smh archives or search on google or something...Often in the newspaper comments are made about excahnge rates, which are an integral part of external stability.

So, in conclusion, articles on new stats are useful, but try to look for something a bit more in depth, cos it will be easier for u to justify its inclusion.
