Just wondering if anyone knew the level of mathematics in the course?
Eg comparable to methods?

You need to do maths methods as a pre-req to get into the Monash course, and I'm pretty sure RMIT is the same (I think you need at least a 25).
But there's no maths subject in the actual course, so don't stress if you suck at it. A couple of the pracs involve physics formulae and basic log/exponential stuff, but if you're battling the demonstrators will talk you through the steps and help you understand.
