I'm going to the usyd one and the unsw one...comparing their paddle pops i suppose? My parents are coming to supervise my paddle-pop tasting to ensure i make the right decision...

Weisy: i think they sent you a letter if you got 99+ and had either of the unis as one of ur preferences. Even if they weren't a preference, if you got a 100 they probably sent it anyway.

Don't you just love it when seemingly simple and straightforward threads go completely off topic?

Medicine anyone? ---> comm/law and financial prospects ----> open days and paddlepops....

And they say youth have short attention spans!

I think my dreams of paddle-pop licking have been shattered.

Not that elite after all :( Everyone i know seems to have got that invite to the high achievers thing... but not everyone i know did that well? Strange.

Maybe, i just got an invite to the normal one, and missed out on the high achievers one altogether?

*paranoia sets in*

*x-files music plays*

Why am i posting in a medicine thread?

It's not about attention span, it's about the perverse desire to take every topic in a totally different direction :D

Does Vet science count as medicine? You know, real doctors treat more than one species. There are only 4 Unis in Australia that offer vet science! how dodgy. Melbournes UAI for it went up to 99.45! 99.45!!!!! Geez!

How do you know Melbourne's TER for vet already?

Also - 99.45 is actually 99.5 because their top mark is 99.95 (not 100). But they may have different requirements for sydney applicants? What did you get, where r u hoping to go?

I went to their UAC site. I got 97.00 and I'm hoping to go to Sydney, I applied to Queensland too. I know I wont get straight in, but I've got access schemes going for me, so I'm still hopeful. I'd probably still be happy with Animal science though.
