Hmm...haven't heard of BioChemistry then, have we? ;)

I think with prerequisites you actually have tot take the HSC course, but I'm hoping that's not true.

I'm kinda praying that I DON'T have to go interstate, really... I love UNSW too much!

I don't think you can do that for some interstate Med schools.
I emailed them and they said that students must be doing Chem and some specific English course to be able to be considered for entry.
I know that the Med schools in NSW don't have prerequisites.

I think I've read somewhere that Chemistry is "recommended", but not a prerequisite. :)

English is now regarded as the most important subject..... wonder why? ;)

Yeah.
The guy at the Expo thing said that students don't even need a bridging course for Chem if they get accepted because if they're smart enough to get into Med, they're smart enough to learn the Chem knowledge off the lecturers.

I dont think the study of texts context and textual interity ir relevant to medicine and i have heard of biochem...very import in med but i dont think HSC chem caters that greatly for biochem..... thats y i was saying there wud not b much chem....implicitly hsc chem
