why do so many people want to do med undergrad? i mean isn't uni supposed to be fun and not bogged down. screw the potential early salary when you could be studying overseas

some people have more direction than others or are more eager to get their careers started. Its up to the individual and we can't criticise people who have different approaches.

2) who says that med students r in it for the starting salary?
3) it IS possible to study medicine overseas...albeit expensive...plus you wont be qualified to practise in australia
