Merger and acquisitions law (1 Viewer)

Hello,

I am a first year graduate law student. I am interested in working with mergers and acquisitions, however there do not appear to be any subjects that deal with this subject matter.

Is it only possible to work with merger and acquisitions after spending time working with corporate law?

My aim is to work overseas in corporate law. It appears that most overseas lawyer positions in Asia are looking for at least 2+ PAE generally in some aspect of corporate law, and generally with M&A.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
