So who else was at the Metallica concert last night?

I went with my brother. He's the fan, and i hadnt really listened to much of their stuff before, but it wen't off!

Is anyone going to Big Day Out to see them?

Didn't see anyone injured. We had sweet seats (front of second teir, right in front of the stage)
Floor/mosh looked crazy.

14000 people in metallica shirts! it was sweet! cool concert.

did they do the bass/guitar doodle they always do, or was robert not up to it?

mojo: they were selling some tickets at the door! I heard an announcement about 30 mins before it started!

bass guitar doodle? i dont know what you mean, but the bassist does this cool thing where he crouches down and plays the guitar leaning on his shin... (my brother says they didnt do it. he's the fan. kirk did lots of guitar doodles in between songs though. they put a solo in Dirty Window, creeping death was sweet. DIE! DIE!)

They also had awesome fireworks before ONE!

Yeah Fade to Black wasnt there. A friend also bought tickets about 2 weeks before the concert in a second release, and they were like front of 3A block, right near the bass guitarist.

my boyfriend was also at the metallica concert - AND he went to BDO to see them. He wasn't injured, thank God. He also entered some art competition, and if you won they'd put your art on their single/album cover or something.

i saw them at the 2nd sydney bdo, it was incredible. they opened with battery, then went stright into master of puppets. Umm nothing else matters was fantastic, i had a good view of the crowd from the staduim and all the lighters looked really cool.
they did mostly older stuuf (thank god) and enter sandman was the third encore, with awesome fireworks.
