but the guy's got style n charisma..n hes bringing the classics to a new audience

lol i agree he's got charisma but as for style...hmm.... he's no different to any vegas act...

i dont really think he's bringing the classics to a new audience coz a lot of the people listening to his stuff listen to it coz their parents played em the originals or coz they liked the originals....

plus there's the "reality tv" factor - idol and stuff all sing classic jazz and crooners' songs...

its just a trend everywhere going back to classics..movies been helping that too - eg ray charles - written all these songs for current pop singers and had people doing covers of his that people our age didnt even realise were covers until the movie came out

well i honestly didn't listen to that type of music until michael buble brought out sway, then i started getting into other oldtime crooners

yeh im not saying he doesn't....what i meant was he's one of about a million people/places/events who is so like...i mean... its nothing special... the trend started before he became popular, he became popular because he took advantage of the trend... so it goes both ways....
