You guys how did you find accounting 1a? I found it fairly easy.
I still have Macroeconomics and QMA left on Friday.

Macro was good too. I didnt like how they used some multiple choice questions straight from the sample document (despite fiddling around with the figures). All in all, fairly straightforward.

60% of the people doing QMA failed the mid-term.

60% that's rather high, where did you get that figure from? It wasn't that high when I did QMA and I thought it was bad when we did it.

Simon Angus' official evaluation of QMA mark distributions, and yeah it is high because alot of the people doing it this sem either failed it last sem or did a maths skills course or something. I found this sem's midsession a little harder though, got 12 last semester, only 11 this time around, this midsession was well .. wierd in a way. Not that midsessions were ever my problem, fckn calculus and world cup 2006!

11/20, i know quite a few people that failed and it's their second time (along with me). I will study hard for finals I guess and depend on 1B, Macro to pull me up.

that statistic says a lot about either
1) the people teaching QMA
2) the people taking QMA

IIRC the average for the QMB midsession was 15/20, which is too high in my opinion. The average should not be a distinction.
