Mid term Marks (1 Viewer)

i only got thre of my exams back yesterday.

Science - 58% - Rank 4th (i'm so ashamed of that mark)
Legal Studies - 82% - Rank 2nd
Music - 80% - Rank 2nd

these marks kinda suck but i'm happy with them.

I got my English ranking today it was 2nd

So its four 1sts and two 2nds.

Hmm so as at the half-year I should be topping 4 subjects (maybe 5) and coming 3rd in English.

Phys =1st-64%......(hard test i hope)
Chem 4th-65%
Maths 1st-95%
Maths ext 1st-80%
Eng. adv. 7th-70%

D&T didn't count

I go to a very crap school, based on last years UAI's anyway so i am worried about these marks.

be in the top 5 in every subject and your bound to get >85 UAI..
it also depends on your school...

depends on school. say in sydney boy being in the top 90 will get u an over 80 uai

well before the exams its ranks but i think the marks are really more important after that

I wouldn't be intimidated by mine, last year the top UAI was only 95.5ish but then again she only topped maths and maths ext1.

did ok I guess except for economics >_< in my first half of my HSC examinations..after 2 tests for each subject through the first half year here is my 2nd test mark and overall rank.

half yearly mark Overall ranking
Eng adv 100% 9th/120ish
Eng ext 9/10 2nd/36
Math ext 47/58 28th/110ish
Math ext 2 34/57 12th/75 (that was a damn hard test !)
Physics 23.5/35 18th/100ish (lol grade average was 16.5)
Economics 19/30 41th/56 (nightmare came true >_<)

Only thing I can say is Tech is full of math people with no clue in english what so ever


LOL I saw the syd boys half yearly 4u math test....it was a killer 90 min for 12 questions !! man feel sorry for you guys. According to my friend the test was written by a chinese dude thats why its so hard I also heard someone actually stood up in the middle of the math test and started crying then walked out..is it true ?
