His eyes are signifcantly off centre, especially when he tries to focus on things. The thing is, he use to wear glasses and it was ok, but without them hes severly crosseyed. We really should tell him but then it would be very awkward telling him such a thing, and realistically hes happy just not wearing glasses so I just see it that as long as he feels happy with himself its all good :)

does anyone know someone who has had a lazy eye but has gone through something like laser surgery (or something similar) and come out of it fine and their eye 'fixed'?

last year at my school, i had three mates who had lazy eyes and i also had a physics teacher who had lazy eyes too.

my physics teacher's been married to a very nice lady for 10 years now and has 3 kids...

my mate with lazy eyes recently got a REALLY REALLY HOT gf.. (he's so damn lucky) and the thing is, he's not really that good looking (even i can tell he's just an average joe)

so it doesnt really matter wat u look like with wat eyes coz in the end u do find someone that'll respect ya for who u are :)

i don't think it really has that much to do with people being shallow, more personal preferences. i could never go out with someone i wasn't at all attracted to. if someone isn't attracted to your eyes then it's no different to someone not being attracted to fat girls, or tall guys, or whatever.

No it wouldnt be enough to turn me off... i guess cos i have gotten to know a guy who has a really really bad left eye (that one is completely cross-eyed) and hes sooo sweet that if i was single and he asked me out then the eye thing would not even be an issue for a second. Like i guess it might turn me off a little more if i was looking for a random hookup with a hot guy but even then i wouldnt completely discount a guy with it (and that's probably because of this guy).

My cousin had an extremely light sensitive right eye (meaning he kept is eyelid in a permanent squint) and i know its not the same thing, but he had surgery and when he took the patch off his eye was practically perfect but it gradually got worse again... its still not as bad as it was in the first place but you can definitely notice it. That probably doesn't help.

haha..i was about to say yes until i saw the last bit 'their eye fixed'..hehe

my mate got it done when she was two so that would have been around 1991..i'm pretty sure technology would be much more advanced now and there'd be less chance of stuff up..and it's not like they made it worse or anything..just the other direction hehe :p

perhaps you should talk to your doctor/eye specialist? (that is if you haven't already)..do you really feel you need to change it?

"might as well, crosseyed?" man who cares if they're cross eyed, does that make him/her not human? it shouldnt even be an issue..if you attracted to them you are, if your not, then your not, if they wanna get surgery then that's thier choice, but nobody should change for noone...

well if it'd make you feel better, go for it then! just remember you don't NEED to change yourself for people to like/accept you/whatever :)

I didn't say I wanted to change it (I've been told it 'catches you attention'), but I just want to know if people think it's too weird.
That post wasn't specifically in reply to yours. Just a general observation
