Anyone else in the same boat? I called up bout missing the day but apparently it needs to be lodged "with a supervisor". I had to wait in the sweltering heat for 2hrs on Cowan station while news helicopters were buzzing overhead and a few firetrucks were going past(well, the ones that could get through the humongous traffic jam). Urgh not a good way to start the uni process. For those who actually went what did I miss out on?

Well the enrolment preparation session wasn't very helpful, although all you had to do was bring in your proposed form completed and give it to an advisor and let them sign it then you bring it to some guy and he photocopies it and your done

 you were there today?

Mike, rob, ben and I were there today too!

Personally I think days like this are extremely helpful, although it may not seem like it... soooo many people both on forums and at uni today had no idea what they were doing, no idea what units they had to do, etc etc... had they rocked up to enrollment like that, that could really be a dragged-out day lol

:( I fear this is me. I am already more confused than a lot of people-I guess it's going to be even worse since I've missed the enrollment day. What I think is sucky though is that I scoured Macq uni site and my e-student pages and they didn't tell me when my "pre-enrollment session" was. I got to this table for B arts that said the "Pre- enrollment session" and "enrollment session" were at the same time/on the same day. I still don't understand the my degree........ In time this confusion will pass.....
*breathes deeply*

The BA pre-enrollment session was today, as was Academic Advising (the ones that go through your timetable draft with you step-by-step).

I believe BA enrollment - actual enrollment - is thursday?

I don't know if it was him or not, I think, from the photos of Asylum(?) posted on these forums, I saw him from the back in some stand near the Mason theatre, not so close but quite close

hannah i think you also missed out on your student id card + concession sticker. I think i read somewhere that if you dont make it, you can show up to the late enrollment thing on the 23rd of Feb, but i think there is a $200 application fee of some sort.

Regarding those student id cards + concession sticker, we can get them when we start university or at the academic orientation (whenever that is)?

Yeah sure, but expect a longer wait.
