I used to hate them. I figured if you had to rely such methods, you obviously dont know your stuff well enough.

That was before I started chemistry, biology and extension maths.

Hows this one?
Trig identities (the 2s are squared's)
cosec2x-cot2x= 1 "cosy cot"
sec2x-tan2x=1 "sexy tan"

That one was the teachers actually. I usually only use them for chemistry and most of mine are personal and would make no sense to anyone else.

Another mnemonic for chemistry is....

-Metals = losers (lose electrons therefore positive)
-Non Metals = greedy (gain electrons therefore negative)

And another is...
- Pussy Cats = Cations (Positive)
- Anions = Negative

hahas that's a pretty good way of remembering them, i'll remember that =].

cosec²x-cot²x= 1 "cosy cot"
sec²x-tan²x=1 "sexy tan"

cosec cot is my way, similar to yours ..


Try these exponential tags

Open a tag with a [s u p]
Conclude with a [/ s u p]

No spaces of course

It will look like this: x²


Open a tag with a [s u b]
Conclude with a [/ s u b]

No spaces of course, again ...

It will look like this: x₂
