Hey guys,

For Modern History, how should i go about it during the holidays before trials(week 2 of term 3), what is best and most effective way to study for modern history?

The topics I've done are ww1, germany, spear and almost a quarter of conflict in europe in school

I've never written notes for modern history other than in class and I'm at the top of my cohort (for now). Best way for mine is to just write practice essays and for core know the gist of the content and make up quotes to back it up (but you have to use real historians, and then you can't use a weapons historian to make a comment about women in the war)

I also do Germany and you should be ready to write essays in key concepts such as the Treaty of Versailles, Failure and Success of Weimar Republic, Impact of the Army, Volksgemeinschaft and Gleichschaltung etc.. Just do several essays using past HSC questions - it's what I did for half yearly and it worked.
