Hey just out of curiosity for those doing advanced HOW many speeches are u going to be study? do u think they will specify?

I don't think they'll specify, they did in 2001 and there was a big uproar I think. Its unfair because they can't specify a specific act or scene for other texts.

I've prepared only 2, although Im considering preparing another 2 quickly just in case the question is a bit iffy.

It was 2 in the trials, i've got 3 since that's what they made us do for the assessment task earlier in the year.

I haven't prepared any! I just kind of know all of them, and the themes and values that run through them all. I still have no idea which ones I'm going to do!

I've only really got Emma Goldman's speech and Margaret Atwood's down. I'm alright with Socrates and some others but really, If they ask for a specific one I'm fucked. Ah well. I did well in AOS.
