So, I am just about to take the final step in my BOW and get my backings printed. At this stage I have been lucky enough to get away without spending a cent on my work. I've been scraping through using the pieces of wood/masonite ect I already had available, and my dad's paints(he's an artist)... but now I have to go to the printers! My guess is that each print, there are two, will be $100 or more.... so $200ish for my BOW.

How much has/is everyone else spending on their art making?....

I spent:
$20 - wood
$68 - iron-on transfer paper
$50 - printer cartridge (used it all up)
$10 - glaze
$5 - embroidery threads
$5 - face paint

thats about $158..

i also bought a bench drill which costed me $90.. i guess it wasn't necessary, but made the canvas making about a 500% easier job :)

After haggling, iI managed to get 3 glossy a2 colour prints done for $110... that's after alot of haggling...

I went to click media, it would of cost around $160 if they charged me full price (even with student discount, whatever that is).

Im planning on doing say another 3, probly wont get the same deal twice... our school does our framing for free...

I'm saying it's gunna cost $200 all up.

1.1.5 for $50? what quality, onto what?

i've managed to 'borrow' everything from school so far, and my teacher is mounting my works for free.

i've only spent a couple of dollars on printing, cause i found an exploit in the school's printer system. a3 full colour laser printing for 30 cents = :)

Yeah I thought so too :) Although I would have liked some help with the paint, but our school isn't entirely rich, so it was okay...
