I dont like the old buildings too. I got turned of USYD in the open day badly. UNSW looked alot more nice to me. But USYD has a POOL!! damn wish UNSW had one.

not all usyd buildings are old. the ecos and bus building was only opened in 2002, and i get to spend my last 1.5 years in the new law building.

And there are rennovations being done to some old buildings. and some old buildings actually look good on the inside i.e R.C Mills building

USyd is getting a massive redevelopment and the new law facility is just one aspect of it.

As for sporting facilities. USyd has 2 pools on campus and the pool in Victoria Park is only a short walk away.

i didn't like UTS, coz it was too gloomy!

as with UNSW, i just hated the fact that u gotta catch a bus after getting off at central- too much of a hassle for me.
