OK atm im in yr 11 and these are the subjects i am doing

chem
bio
physics
engeneering studies
adv maths
ext maths
adv english

i saw somewhere that you cant do more than 6 units of science .. is engeneering counted as a science. Also i plan on dropping engeneering is it possoble for me to get a uai in year 12. Does the 6 units of science only apply to year 12 and the hsc.

thanks

I am not sure if Engineering is considered "HSC science course" and I haven't heard that you are not supposed to do more than 6 units of science.

I personally think it's fine. BTW, if your school allows that combination, that must mean that it is fine because school is supposed to follow Boardofstudies' rule.

Max 6 units of science can be counted towards your UAI. So my school doesn't allow more than 6. Also, Eng. is not a HSC Science course.

Courses like Earth and Environmental Science are the other sciences that are considered actual Sciences. Not Eng Studies.

This is what I thought

but either way you wouldnt want to do 4 sciences. heck, if you are doing engineering at uni, physics is more than enough. and if you are doing any other science course, chem alone would be more than enough

and btw, I hear EES is boring

Well...
Sorry to break it to you. But you're not doing four. You're doing three sciences.
