Yeah, I'm sure that Sao song's accompanied some cutting before. haha. *jokes*. Can't wait to see em at Taste of Chaos!

I like 'It's Cool, We Can Still Be Friends' by Bright Eyes. I especially like the ending, where Connor sings in a drunken slur:

"So I'm pouring some whiskey, I'm gonna get drunk
Yeah, I'm pouring myself some whiskey, I'm gonna get real fuckin' drunk
I'm pouring some whiskey right now, I'm gonna get so, so drunk
That I pass out, forget your face, by the time I wake up."

Tiny Vessels - Death Cab

edit: Delicate - Damien Rice (in fact most of "O" is really sad)
Lead Me Upstairs - David Gray
Twilight - Elliott Smith (lots of Elliott Smith too)

am i wrong
brand new

mercury rising by from autumn to ashes makes you want to kill yourself as well haha

How sad - this is what your life has
been reduced to - a single room apartment containing no more than a mattress.
The strings have been removed from the blinds and all the outlets have been
painted over. The television screen is streaked with blood smeared from your
knuckles as you were trying to punch it out but you underestimated its
strength, or maybe you just weren't trying hard enough. Startled by a knock
at the door you rise for the first time in two days to answer, but you can
only greet the visitor with one short statement. Hello my first name is
distance and I really don't care if I never wake up again. Hello my name is
distance and I really don't care if I never wake up again. Hello I really
don't care if I never wake up again. I really don't care if I never wake up
again.

gagging order - radiohead
burnt flowers fallen - type o negative
hurt - nine inch nails
the death of music - ocean machine
champagne supernova - oasis (more a nostalgic thing)
the day after christmas - kate miller-heidke
last goodbye - jeff buckley

off the top of my head. for me it's usually because it reminds me of times/people.

yeah it's the ones with memories attached that hurt the most.

i'd put distorted reality by elliott smith down cause it instantly brings me back to a really tough time.

what sarah said by death cab for cutie makes me cry nearly every time i actually listen to it (as in like, not just having it on in the background or whatever)
most songs off jack johnson's first cd 'cause they just remind me of a really shitty period in my life
23 by jimmy eat world (even though its one of my favourite songs ever)
hear you me by jimmy eat world too
a song is a city by eskimo joe
brothers on a hotel bed by dcfc
standing on the edge of summer by thursday
sparks by coldplay
fix you up by tegan and sara even though lyrically it's not really sad

i can't be bothered thinking of anything else right now ..
