gday i wanna upgrade memory but i dunno what type to buy...and this mofo of a mobo is waaaay old so i dont know whats going on and all

256MB 3200 Generic $60
256MB 3200 Kingston $75
256MB 3200 Geil w/ heatsink $85
256MB 3700 / 4000 Kingmax $85

attached is a page of the mobo manual i think is the relevant bit...pls translate into english for me

Your motherboard is ASUS A7VL - VM
small version if i remember correctly the asus coding

it is in one word, OLD
it uses SD-RAM either PC100 or PC133
which means none of the ones listed there will work! the listed ones are DDR-RAM

look for SD-RAM with rating of 100 or 133, most likely will be 133
