A particle has a constant acceleration of 12 m/s^2. If the particle has a velocity of 2 m/s and is 3 m from the origin after 5 s, find its displacement after 10 s.

plz help me solve this question

sorry question should read

find its velocity after 10s not after 1s


I used same method as you and substituted 10 s instead of 1 s and got displacement = -123

the answer at the back of the book is 163 m

Sub in T=10 as opposed to T=1 and that'll do the trick ;)

yea i did that......answer in the back of book is displacement= 163m

Yes the method is correct....i made a silly mistake with calulator
