So Modern History has been my weakest subject over the two years, however I really want to try and improve my mark in the HSC so I can attain a higher ATAR and all of that.
My internal mark for Modern was 84 and I am ranked 11/25 in the year. If I go really well in the actual HSC exam can I actually improve that much?
Because I am wanting to spend a lot of time on it in order to improve, but I just feel like it may be a waste and I feel as though I am not going to be able to improve my mark despite my efforts.

So the question I guess I'm trying to ask is, should I spend a lot of time on it in order to improve my mark, or will my efforts go to waste?
What raw mark should I aim for to say get an 87?

It's probably a stupid question!
Thanks for all of your help.

Effort often is rewarded. Know many BOSers that have improved in HSC mark.

Personal story, I got 66% in a Year 10 maths test, but with lots of work in Yr 11/12 I never scored that lowly again.
