who in here has a motorola v3 ???

did yous get a black leather case when you bought your fone??
i didint !! grrrr
and also i heard u get aluminium box
but i got a cardbox box !!! grrrr
and i didnt get any accessories with my fone such as the bluetooth headset !!!
did you???

and when i connect my fone to my computer via USB..
it says Charging on my fone...
and its not even a charger.. im jus conneting to da comp !!!

LOL.. i got everything.. it was in this cool sliding metal case..
BT headset, leather case, moto key ring thingy, ... uh, i think thats it..

yeah the connector is both for usb and charging.. thats why it charges when you plug it into your usb... the only way around it is if you have a BT dongle and transfer files that way...

Chances are that the phone IS charging. A USB port supplies up to 500milliamps to connected devices.

Also, what use is an aluminium box or leather case for a phone? I haven't read anything to suggest that the phone has an included bluetooth headset, which usually retail for over $100. I must say, its a drop dead gorgeous phone.

The phone is not proportional. i.e The top flip is not "symmetric" with the bottom. So when you open it, it feels lopsided,
The numbers on the buttons are in an ugly "font".

Then again, I own a N-Gage, which is an ugly brick of a phone. So maybe my standards are a bit lower than yours.

yeah the phone actually charges when you connect the USB plug in it..
you can also charge the included bluetooth headset via usb as well (if you got one!! )

the bad thing about the phone is that when it opens up, theres the bottom bit which sticks out.... and the screen ain't that great under direct sunlight!!

I would get a V3 if only it had at LEAST a 1 megapixel camera and memory card slot....VGA resolution phone cameras are so 2 years ago especially for a high end phone like the V3

uh actually the v3 lacks alot of features...
there is only 5mb of memory... they could at least put 64mb or at least a memory card slot..
it doesn't record video's.... but it can play them...
their bluetooth implementation sucks..
the vga camera is pretty ok... i don't think a 1mp would go well with the limited memory!

Well if you are going to have a camera on your phone you may as well one which can at least take useful pictures. wtf is the point of have a camera feature which takes pointless half arsed web cam quality pics? The sharp GX 30 was released over a year and a half ago and has a 1 megapixel camera and memory card slot, so why does motorola currently sell a top end phone with only vga resolution and crap all internal memory with no sd card slot?

the photo quality only needs to be good enough to display the photo on the phone screen. i don't know why you want a phone to do the job of a camera anyways.

and as for why motorola didn't put a better camera on their phone, god knows why. they'd probably have to change the memory specs and wouldn't get the thin size if they had to add a memory slot!

as i said before this is the most overpriced phone ever and the price in a couple of months time will be half of what it is now. Phones do drop in price quite fast but this one will be worst when people realise how crap it really is.

Moto was clearly selling this phone on its looks not features. There are plenty of phones out there with better features at a heaps lower price range

yeah it is a little over priced.. but i remember reading somewhere that one of motorola's strategy is not to make the phone a mid to lower end phone... in other words, i don't think you'll be able to get it on prepay!

i don't know why people think its bad. the only think i don't like it on is the lack of memory + mp3 player.
