Never thought of the day for a guy to ask for a chick flick.

Depending on what the family has seen, age brackets, etc. Most Disney movies have the thumbs up. Movies ranging from Pirates of the Carribean to Cinderella. Other family fun chick flicks: 10 things I hate about you, Never been Kissed, The Princess Diaries, The Incredibles, etc.
Not exactly entertaining stuff.

If the family age brackets are slightly older or can handle more mature movies (not really mature but more complex thinking), Wag the Dog, Oceans Eleven, Twelve Monkeys, Labyrinth, and many more. These are more entertaining but still low level violence/no sex scenes etc.

I got the Incredibles before it was released in shops because my friend works in this random shop and they got them in really early so she sold me a copy even though the store wasn't selling them at the time. If that makese sense.
