Moving from standard to advanced (1 Viewer)

I'm currently coming 44/167 in standard english, i know its bad but i really want to get into advance english. If i come first in the yearlies, is it possible for me to move up to advance english in year 12?

I don't think it's possible considering that you've missed out on the prelim english advanced course. You could try to have a chat with the head english teacher at your school

It could be extremely hard for you to come first in the yearlies given that rank unless there are like tiny difference in marks between your current rank and the person currently at 1. I think there is a possibility depending on your school policies, I personally did know someone who did the standard english course in year 11 but got moved up to advanced english in year 12 due to exceptional performance in the course. But this is very rare and dependent on the school's discretion, so it is best for you to not overthink about it and just concentrate on getting your best results at this moment in time.
