I have just move into a new house, how and where can I register for the eletricity and water?

Ask the realestate agent/neighbours who your/their water company is - electricity you can go with anyone. Just ring and ask.

In Victoria there is a company called Utility One who connect all your services for free - maybe its the same in NSW?

um im pretty sure its the other way around in sydney. water is by sydney water and electricity is supplied by energy australia in the north, inner west and east(north shore, hills, hornsby, inner west as far as parramatta i think and eastern suburbs) and intergral energy supplies the south and south-west (greater west, south west, southern highlands and illawarra).
